A girl in love asked her boyfriend.Girl: Tell me. Who do you love most in this world?Boy: You, of course!Girl: In your heart, what am I to you?Boy: The boy thought for a moment and looked intently in her eyes andsaid, 'You are my rib. It was said that God saw that Adam was lonely, during his sleep, God took one of Adam's rib and created Eve. Every man has been searching for his missing rib, only when you find the woman of your life, you'll no longer feel the lingering ache in your heart.'After their wedding, the couple had a sweet and happy life for a while. However, the youthful couple began to drift apart due to the busy schedule of life and the never-ending worries of daily problems, their life became mundane. All the challenges posed by the harsh realities of life began to gnaw away their dreams and love for each other. The couple began to have more quarrels and each quarrel became more heated. One day, after the quarrel, the girl ran out of the house. At the opposite side of the road, she shouted, 'You don't love me!' The boy hated her childishness and out of impulse, retorted, 'Maybe, it was a mistake for us to be together! You were never my missing rib!' Suddenly, she turned quiet and stood there for a long while. He regretted what he said but words spoken are like thrown away water, you can never take it back. With tears, she went home to pack her things and was determined in breaking-up. Before she left the house, 'If I'm really not your missing rib, please let me go.' She continued, 'It is less painful this way. Let us go on our separate ways and search for our own partners.'Five years went by...He never remarried but he had tried to find out about her life indirectly. She had left the country and back. She had married a foreigner and divorced. He felt anguished that she never waited for him. In the dark and lonely night, he lit his cigarette and felt the lingering ache in his heart. He couldn't bring himself to admit that he was missing her. One day, they finally met.At the airport, a place where there were many reunions and good byes. He was going away on a business trip. She was standing there alone, with just the security door separating them. She smiled at him gently.Boy: How are you?Girl: I'm fine. How about you? Have you found your missing rib?Boy: No.Girl: I'll be flying to New York in the next flight.Boy: I'll be back in 2 weeks time. Give me a call when you are back. You know my number. Nothing has changed. WON.With a smile, she turned around and waved good bye.Good bye...One week later, he heard of her death. She had perished in New York , in the event that shocked the world.Midnight , once again, he lit his cigarette. And like before, he felt thelingering ache in his heart. He finally knew. She was the missing rib that he had carelessly broken. **********************************************************Things happen each day, many of which are beyond our control.Let us treasure every moment and everyone in our lives.Tomorrow may never come. Give and accept what you have today.Sometimes, people say things out of moments of fury. Most often than not,the outcome could be disastrous and detrimental. We vent our frustrations 99% of the times at our loved ones. And even though we know that we ought to 'think twice and act wisely', it's often easier said than done. The virtue of true love is not finding the perfect person BUT loving the imperfect person perfectly.Love doesnt have a happy ending coz it simply doesnt end.Sometimes when our hearts feel challenged and we're afraid of the unknown...We say and do things we don't really mean.Love is not to forget but to forgive, not to see but to understand, not to hear but to listen, not to let go but to HOLD ON ! The Bible and the coal basket...words of wisdom and inspiration…
An old man lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Bible. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.
One day the grandson asked, "Papa, I try to read the Bible just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Bible do?" The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, "Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water."
The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got
back to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, "You'll have to move a little faster next time," and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again.
This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath,
he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead.
The old man said, "I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water.
You're just not trying hard enough," and he went out the door to watch the boy try again.
At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show
his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would leak out
before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when
he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty.
Out of breath, he said, "See Papa, it's useless!" "So you think it is useless?" The old man said, "Look at the basket." The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out.
"Son, that's what happens when you read the Bible. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out. That is the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives." Su$@nN@

TAKE A DEEP BREATH BEFORE READING THIS
There was an atheist couple who had a child. The couple never told their daughter anything about the Lord. One night when the little girl was 5 years old, the parents fought with each other and the dad shot the Mom, right in front of the child. Then, the dad shot himself. The little girl watched it all. She then was sent to a foster home.. The foster mother was a Christian and took the child to church. On the first day of Sunday School, the foster mother told the teacher that the girl had never heard of Jesus, and to have patience with her. The teacher held up a picture of Jesus and said, 'Does anyone know who this is?' The little girl said, 'I do, that's the man who was holding me the night my parents died.'
If you believe this little girl is telling the truth that even though she had never heard of Jesus, he still held her the night her parents died, then you will forward this to as many people as you can.
Or you can delete it as if it never touched your heart.
Funny, isn't it?
Funny how simple it is for people to
trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.
Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.
Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible says. (Or is it scary?)
Funny how someone can say 'I believe in God' but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also 'believes' in God).
Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.
Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but the public discussion of Jesus is suppressed in the school and workplace.
Funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them.
Funny how we can go to church for Christ on Sunday, but be an invisible Christian the rest of the week. (Are you laughing?)
Funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me. (Are you thinking?)
Pass this on only if you mean it.
Yes , I do Love God!
